Lauren Engle, MA., LPC
Lauren received her Masters in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University and is licensed as a Professional Counselor in the state of Kansas. Her emphasis is in marriage and family counseling. She has experience working with individuals of all ages, couples, and families. Though Lauren works with an array of clients experiencing anything from depression or anxiety to abuse or loss, she has a passionate heart specifically for the couple relationship; she longs to help couples either strengthen or restore the bonds that hold them together. She also holds a passion for adolescents, understanding the confusing messages and pressures they face in this stage of their lives.
Across her lifespan, Lauren has had many different multicultural encounters, having been a missionary kid in New Mexico, to going to Mexico for missions work, and most recently having gone to Uganda, Africa for missions in the summer of 2012. As a result, she is very sensitive to and understanding of people from many different backgrounds. Through her different encounters, her understanding of the world and personal values have been strengthened, and she is therefore dedicated to helping each person she works with along their personal journey in a way that empowers them with tools for growth.
