Phillip D. Hause, MA, LPC, RPT


Phil is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist. He graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 2002, received his Registered Play Therapist certification from the Association for Play Therapy in 2011 and is in the dissertation phase of his Ph. D. degree in Marriage and Family at Amridge University in Montgomery, Alabama.
Phil brings experience to include working with children, families, individual adults, and couples. His areas of focus for therapeutic service include childhood challenges, attachment and parenting issues, separation/divorce, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, anger, shame issues, faith dilemmas, chronic pain, adult concerns for male issues and sexual abuse survivors, mature adult transitions, and marital challenges.
Through his counseling services, Phil is a certified administrator for the Prepare/Enrich inventories for premarital/married couples and is continuing training in marital therapy techniques from the Gottman Institute. Phil loves to teach students at MidAmerica Nazarene University and Nazarene Theological Seminary and to share his life-long journey with others.
Phil loves to meet with people in all stages of life and to help them with the challenges they have incurred. It is his great joy to see all individuals in the counseling office or Play Therapy playroom and to assist in the healing and wholeness of any individuals who come across his pathway.
